This is TNX or the 10 yr. Does this look bearish to you? It likely will rise fast if it can get above 50, or 5.0% on the 10 yr. Possibly rocketing to 7-8%. The 30 yr mortgage would get wrecked by going much higher as well.
This chart is simply looking at the new housing build permits or “Starts”. see the range in between the two red shaded areas? Well if you are looking for a dream home, wait until you see new housing starts fall lower to the bottom of the range closer to the Covid low. I personally am waiting for GFC lows.
