I believe he is one of the greatest entrepreneurs I have seen in my lifetime. Even if you forget about PayPal and others, his ability to fight big oil, US Auto firms, and the Dealer Network to build Tesla is a 1 in 300m chance (the population of USA). No one before him was able to do it. And yes, it is not 1 man, but a team of bright people at his various companies.
It is not easy building a category and being first, while fighting multiple major industries trying to kill your progress.
And while I don’t agree all the time with either left or right, I know the spirit of DOGE is needed. I did not think I would ever see it in my lifetime. Sure my cynicism tells me one side of wealthy will lose, and the other side of wealthy will win.
But if in that chaos, we can see a smaller government and reduce all this corruption and waste, I hope he and his team focus 99% of the time on DOGE.
However, Tesla may be a victim of the distractions near term and I am leaning bearish on it.
